On the veloway Saturday, I was stung by a flying insect -- bee, wasp, I don't know; I didn't see it. But I felt and heard the wings as I swatted it away from my thigh where it stung. It hurt a bit, but was easy enough to ignore. Today it feels like a fire-ant bite, and that's after the camphor itch-alleviator. This is the first time I've ever been stung by an insect.

I am tired of reading about you stung by a bee/wasp. We need Austin news and news about our single friend’s romantic life.

I find it hard to believe that my Maine friend has never been stung by black fly or mosquito. And I must agree that this was lacking in romance.
