Seafood and Foreigners

Monday I greatly enjoyed Larry Shue's comedy The Foreigner on stage at The Paramount. It starred "the Tuna guys" Jaston Williams and Joe Sears who have made a name for themselves as the stars of several plays in which they portray the citizens of Tuna, Texas.
Before the show, a friend and I had an excellent dinner at Truluck's, just a short walk from The Paramount. The fresh Florida stone crab was as good as the last time I had fresh Florida stone crab, near Fort Pierce on the Florida coast a few years ago. Good, fresh stone crab has a taste that's not altogether different from Maine lobster (a taste I know and love well). I chose the Bairi Snow Crab entrée and it was magnificent. The crab flavor was a unique delectable treat. Having an asparagus side also made my day. We also had a fine French white wine and a great dessert. The atmosphere was most enjoyable, finely appointed and comfortable.
