Running on Water
Last weekend I set a personal high-water mark: running a 5 miler Thursday, and the 6.9 mile MoPac/I-35 Town Lake Loop Friday and Saturday, and then playing Ultimate Frisbee on Sunday, all with no muscle soreness to speak of. But I did get a blister on one toe that kept being re-aggravated. How does one train-away such things? The newer sneakers that I pulled out for my Saturday run did appear to help.
After all that, this last week has been a letdown as I didn't get out at all between work and school.
It rained for a little while during ultimate frisbee last Sunday, a nice warm rain that began after we'd started playing. We haven't had such a nice game-time rain in a long time--over a year if I remember correctly (summer 2002).
