With a Rebel Yell
I just got to see Gone with the Wind on the big screen at The Paramount yesterday. What a great, entertaining movie. I've heard it called long, but I thought it bounded right along. I hear I might enjoy the book even more.
I do very much enjoy having an Intermission too. I don't recall a recent film having an Intermission since Gettysburg , another great film based on an even better book. I caught the final show at the Railroad Square Cinema on a Tuesday evening in December during my junior year in high school. On Wednesday, my friends and I would sit down to our English mid-term. I went to the film alone, and studied for the mid-term in the dim theater-light during the Intermission. I was determined to see Gettysburg on the big screen. I remember the experience of watching the movie very clearly. I don't remember anything more about the English mid-term.
