There Had to be a Beginning
I've contemplated having a blog for a while, but I spend so much time dealing with technical minutia of various kinds for one reason or another already, I was unwilling to invest much in a new technical administrative task.
It all came to a head at the 13th Annual Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival when a friend indicated that he'd been thinking he should have a blog for his pontifications.
So, that pronouncement on his part and a confluence of other positive factors made me think that the time had come to just do it. Or maybe it was just that the bright sun and the upper ninety degree temperatures stopped me from really thinking at all. :-)
